2013-07-21 11.57.29Chloë Owens is a textile designer and illustrator who lives in a colourful world, full of fabric from the groovy 1960s. Salvaging vintage fabrics and contemporary designs, she has created a textile feast for all to enjoy. All Sewn Up by Chloë Owens and her cheeky feline Jake includes 35 funky projects.

This gorgeous book full of fun illustrations of Jake and and instructions on how to complete the different projects. All Sewn Up is bursting to the brim with beautiful crafty projects to tempt you in.

Here are just some I would love try:

The projects range for crafters of different abilities some hard, some easy, but over time all the projects could be mastered. One of the things I love the most about Chloë’s book is how she uses different fabrics on appliqué projects and how all her projects contain so much personality. Here is another one of her projects I love is these funky fabric flowers.

So far I have only made some fabric bookmarks from her book. These are great either as presents or, if you are like me and have 5 books your are reading all at the same time.

She has her own online shop where you can purchase her books, china, cards and textile products. Chloë Owens also had her own blog, Twitter and Facebook.

Published by CICO Books in 2012 you can buy All Sewn Up from CICO’s online store for £14.99.

Happy stitching.
