Sorry for another delayed fabric Friday I have been taking full advantage of the fabulous weather at the moment, spending every opportunity outside in the sun. So finally here it is, this week’s fabric….
Strawberry fabric by one of my favourite fabric designers Cath Kidston.
This gorgeous print was one of the early ones from Cath Kidston’s collection. Inspired by the placement prints on 1950s tablecloths.
For me this fabric is the perfect mix of new and old. The print is vintage like but the use of modern colour gives it a fresh young look. It works well and can be used on smaller and larger projects. So far I used it on only a few appliqué projects and on a bird mobile which is still a work in progress (excuse the creases).
I love this fabric so much I even have the print in a skirt.
You can buy this fabric though, unfortunately it seems you can only buy this print in oil cloth from the Cath Kidston website, but I have managed to find it from John Lewis. Otherwise I you can get print from the Cath Kidston website on several different accessorises, china, bags and so on.
Hope you had a lovely weekend.
